Home About Us

The Ariel Motorcycle Club of South Australia is one of the oldest Adelaide based motorcycle clubs, established in 1928. Its name derives from the English Ariel motorcycle of the 1900's to the late 1960's whose logo refers to the iron-horse. Many events were held at Sellicks Beach up until the 1940's or 50's. The Club was incorporated in June 1963.

Though we dont ride Ariels these days there is still a lot of history in the club and we hope to make some of it available soon.

For information on Ariel motorcycles this Wikipedia listing is a good start

Ariel MCC Club Members are now involved in responsible motorcycle camping/trail rides of 1, 2, or 3 days duration in country South Australia. We just love the smell of fresh single-track in the morning. The Club emphasis is on social/fun riding and enjoyment of the sport.

The Club has access to a river front property, which Club Members are able to use. Informal and organised trail rides are also usually run from here during the year.
